Job Summary:

As a Senior Inside Account Representative, you are responsible for managing inside sales activities within assigned territories. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Military Account Manager to ensure effective communication between our company, customers, and vendors, while also providing preliminary quotes as needed. A key aspect of your role includes fostering strong relationships to support the mission of the end user. You will also contribute to team development by assisting in the training of new staff.

Key Deliverables and Responsibility:

  • Oversee day-to-day communication and problem resolution for all assigned customers following handoff from assigned Military Account Manager.
  • Partner with assigned Military Account Manager to secure pricing agreements with suppliers, obtaining and submitting quotes to customers.
  • Educate new customers on the ordering process and registration. Manage customer complaints or issues to timely resolution.
  • Update the RMS system during status changes from quote to order
  • Maintain regular follow-up with customers on pending orders and additional opportunities under the TLS Programs.
  • Obtain necessary sign offs to release orders for invoicing.
  • Process award notifications in system.
  • Deliver training and support to new Inside Account Representative and Military Account Managers on all job-related processes and systems.
  • Oversee executive level opportunities and key business segments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer facing / inside or outside sales position.  Prior experience with military or government customers preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.  Must enjoy and be comfortable engaging with customers and vendors to easily build rapport and develop meaningful relationships with the ability to conduct business in a confident, articulate, and professional manner to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Highly meticulous and organized with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously with different requirements, adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills to ensure value for all parties involved.

  • Self-driven and proactive in nature with a strong sense of accountability that takes initiative to resolve challenges and complete tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates strong team building qualities such as assisting and collaborating with team members and internal departments of varying levels of expertise.
  • Patient with the ability to train, educate, and re-educate fellow team members on operational processes.
  • PC proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Salary Range = 59,526 - 72,153
