The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

How you will contribute
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Commercial Manager to join the newly established Toblerone Business Unit (BU) within Mondelēz International. This role is critical in building and executing Toblerone's commercial growth strategy across North America, with a primary focus on managing the US Mondelēz business and expanding into new Route-to-Market (RTM) opportunities.
The Commercial Manager will partner closely with the Sales and Support teams to develop new business opportunities in white space retail environments, using deep understanding of the Toblerone brand to sell to new customers and to expand current customers' portfolios, developing promotional pricing structures to fit with customer needs. Work in partnership with customers to define and execute winning growth strategies for both Toblerone and the customer. This role is ideal for a commercially savvy, results-driven professional who thrives in a matrix environment and wants to be part of scaling an iconic premium brand.
Responsibilities include:- Translate Toblerone BU strategies into actionable commercial plans for the U.S. market, strengthening and expanding Toblerone's position within new and existing customers by preparing, negotiating and executing the business plans.
- Support the Commercial Lead in identifying, assessing, and onboarding new RTM partners across priority channels and white space opportunities (e.g., club, e-commerce, specialty, convenience).
- Lead day to day relationship between new customers, distributors and MDLZ internal functions ensuring Toblerone strategies and priorities are executed consistently.
- Maintain and develop strategic growth plans for customers with a focus on portfolio management, listings, distribution and effective promotion and visibility - execute the strategy for the customer.
- Manage pricing within the Gross to Net Framework, assortment management and forecast accuracy in conjunction with supply chain function.
- Together with cross functional colleagues evaluate, plan & execute appropriate promotional and in store visibility - optimize the use of resources to obtain more profitability in the operations.
- Monitor, analyze and report on market, customer and distributor developments to identify new opportunities as well as evaluating key competitor trends / insights.
- Develop and drive broad customer and distributor relationships across all levels of their organization to ensure long-term growth plans.
- Monitor performance, resolve execution gaps, and ensure accountability to deliver on Joint Customer Business Plans and Toblerone's P&L targets.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7-10 years' experience in commercial, sales, trade marketing, or distributor management within FMCG/CPG.
- Strong understanding of commercial planning, joint business planning, and revenue management.
- Proven track record of working with distributor partners and navigating matrix organizations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across internal teams and external customers.
