The Sr. Manager, Planning - Materials is responsible for ensuring the continuity of supply of raw and packaging materials to production facilities for their respective Business Unit (Elevation, Canada, Meats/Cheese/Coffee/Snacking, and Hydration/Desserts/Meals).

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The Sr. Manager, Planning - Materials is responsible for ensuring the continuity of supply of raw and packaging materials to production facilities for their respective Business Unit (Elevation, Canada, Meats/Cheese/Coffee/Snacking, and Hydration/Desserts/Meals).
Responsibilities:
- Quarterback for materials issues within the company. Engaging cross-functional war rooms, driving mid/long-term projects for packaging or ingredient transitions, pull in R&D for continuous usage/substitution projects.
- Track progress of milestones/deliverables related to materials gaps and provide the right level of organization + structure + process to the daily/weekly activities for specific platforms
- Support overall forecasting process and create flags/controls to ensure proper numbers are making their way to vendors. Cycle over cycle changes, PY comparisons, FG inventory coverage, etc.
- Participate and lead in escalation meetings (internally & externally) and bring insights to S&OP + commercial group. Factor in risks to Long Range Production plans so business/finance can truly understand revenue risk due to supplier shortages
- Organize and lead the strategy and plan for Materials Digital and System Solutions partnering with the digital team and other parties to deliver process improvement and value.
- Develops and manages replenishment strategies for assigned materials.
- Optimizes the balance between supply availability, inventory investment and risk of obsolescence.
- Works cross functionally with Marketing, Procurement, R&D, Suppliers, Quality, Plants, Product Change Managers, and Finance on commercialization and productivity change management initiatives to ensure on-time materials availability and cost minimizing transitions.
- Leads and collaborates with plants on inventory reduction inventory reduction initiatives by leveraging SAP and supplier capabilities to align with BU manufacturing strategy.
- Indirectly manage team members from the Mexico Global Capabilities Center (GCC)
- Lead or co-lead continuous improvement projects regarding RFPs, Contract Management, Forecasting, Waste, Working Capital, and others
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of Supply Chain experience (logistics demand planning/forecasting, supply planning, or supply chain-relate areas)
- At least 5 years of experience with Excel, analytics skills, and presentation skills
- SAP experience
- Power BI dashboard building expertise along with AI experience
- Must be very adept with computer software applications, such as Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, Project
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Cross functional Supply Chain knowledge and connectivity
- Flexibility, Adaptability, Personal Drive and Leadership
- Proficient in data analysis, problem solving
