Job Summary

The Sr System Administrator will work with the IT team to administer network and server infrastructure, as well as provide technical support to the company. This role will be based in the corporate headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace, IL; however will provide assistance to the Ft. Myers, FL and Costa Rice offices as well.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Sr System Administrator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity
• Troubleshoot user application problems, performance issues on system & network 
• Install, configure & maintain software
• Perform necessary upgrades to the operating systems, including researching and installing patches, security updates, and service packs 
• Perform and manage system backups and recovery
• Maintain inventory for computer hardware and software licenses
• Provide day to day system administration on user id management, email accounts, file system creation/change, maintain version release software, etc
• Install and configure equipment

• Anti-Virus & Anti-Spam Programs 
• Network Security (Firewalls/VPN) 
• Microsoft Active Directory administration
• IIS 7.0/7.5
• Network documentation skills 
• LAN Knowledge
• Backup Systems 
• Tracking hardware and software inventories, as well as associated warranty and support contracts
• AWS Experience a plus
• GSuite Experience a plus
