About the role: The Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of revenues and expenses for the company's various entities, maintaining accounts payables and receivables, and assisting with accounting close, audits, and other ad-hoc projects as needed. This role will report to the Assistant Controller and have direct exposure to the CFO and executive team.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Record cash and reconcile all accounts on a daily basis
  • Prepare cash recs at month end
  • Process all vendor invoices daily and request payment on a weekly basis
  • Resolve any vendor issues or discrepancies
  • Maintain all Prepaids to ensure month end amortization is complete and accurate
  • Review and maintain accrual schedules for month end
  • Prepare and send client invoices and manage outstanding accounts receivable
  • Review corporate credit card expenses and employee T&E reimbursements
  • Supports month-end and annual close processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assists with annual financial audit and regulatory examinations

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, with 1-3 years' experience in corporate or public accounting.
  • Excellent computer skills (particularly Excel), and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience with financial software and systems, including NetSuite (preferred but not required)
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
