WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a Strategic Cloud Partnerships Director to join our Global Partnerships team and support our Strategic Cloud Partners. As part of our Global Commercial Tech Partnerships team you will be responsible for expanding Braze's go-to-market efforts through the Cloud Vendors community with close collaboration with our global and regional Sales, Marketing team and GSI Partnerships team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building and monetizing strategic relationships and driving commercial development forward, leading GTM multi-partner plays with Services Partners and ISVs, generating pipeline, in collaboration with external partners and internal teams, who is biased towards building repeatability and scalability through innovation. We are looking for an individual who is proactively seeking to improve commercial development achievements and partner experience to make a measurable impact.
Your responsibility will be to develop, plan and execute revenue-driving programs and initiatives, evangelizing Braze’s value proposition within our partner community. Key to the position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, BDR, Marketing and Enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial partnership alignment between Braze and our Strategic Cloud Providers to accelerate Co-Sell development and achieve pole position within their partner portfolio
- Work with Cloud Partners, Sales, BDR and Marketing to develop a joint Braze strategy and GTM business plan that includes co-selling, sourcing revenue and increasing win-rates
- Unlock program funding and monetary benefits such as Marketplace and POC credits to support sales win strategic deals, MDFs to reinvest in our growth and develop GTM motions
- Execute global GTM plans and create region-specific practice development plans, to help expand our global footprint
- Build relationships across Cloud Partners and expand our network and influence as the leading Customer Engagement category within relevant categories and competencies
- Work closely with our Commercial Technology team, Services team and GSIs and ISV teams to develop co-offerings to further strengthening our position across investment firms portfolio companies
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience working with Hyperscalers, Cloud Partners, Sales and Business Development teams to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes, demonstrated experience in obtaining and overachieving on targets
- 5+ years experience in developing Strategic Partnerships, with key focus on working for Cloud Providers or managing strategic relationships with Cloud providers
- Good understanding of the Hyperscalers Co-sell and GTM programs, requirements, benefits, verticalized motions and multi-partner plays
- Good understanding of Customer Engagement and Martech space with a demonstrated experience in obtaining and overachieving on targets
- Adaptive and agile in a quickly changing environment with competing priorities
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills. Clients have the impression that you listen and understand their problems
- Strong drive and character qualities that match with Braze's Core Values and inspire others to follow and act

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $96,000 and $108,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $160,000 and $180,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
