The Support - Tier 1 role utilizes knowledge over a broad skill set to meet and exceed the daily challenges. Responsibilities include completing daily tickets and tasks, following up with internal/external personnel on current tickets, and expanding knowledge within the industry. The ideal candidate has at least two or more years of exposure with the below technologies. Exposure can be self-taught, degree-based (BS or BA), or  boot camp experience. 

Required skills include (but not limited to):

  • Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Translate mockups designs into HTML pages
  • Self-directed 
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to develop new and update existing code
  • Strong understanding of web standards and usability

Additional skills that are a plus:

  • MVC Framework (CodeIgniter experience a plus)
  • MySQL
  • LAMP development environment
  • Understanding of PHP (including Object Oriented Programming)
  • Version control (Git preferred)
  • Photoshop
  • Design experience
