The Technology Business Management team (TBM) provides analytic solutions and services that enable Technology Leaders to make timely, data driven business and strategic decisions. TBM services span across portfolio management, program management, governance, knowledge management, vendor management, tools administration as well as strategy and communications. The Manager, Technology Business Management, will help drive ADUSA Digital's Technology governance roadmap, specifically centered on standardization of critical technology and security processes in a way that minimizes risk and supports engineering excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical acumen, an understanding of technology and security risks and controls, a big- picture mindset and the ability to deliver results. This role will work in close collaboration with technology, security, and business professionals at all levels within the organization.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Chicago, IL, and Quincy, MA.

Duties and Responsibilities
Governance & Risk Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Technology Governance framework aligned with global policies, COBIT, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular risk and gap assessments of technology processes and standards
- Create & manage necessary action items determined by risk and gap assessments.
- Partner with process owners to drive adoption of governance principles and close compliance gaps.
- Monitor and enhance governance processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and ethical standards.
Controls & Compliance
- Establish a centralized control framework to manage risk and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Develop tools, templates, and dashboards to support control documentation, risk visibility, and escalation.
- Act as the liaison for internal and external audits, coordinating responses and tracking remediation efforts.
- Maintain ongoing compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements.
Process Improvement
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Technology Business Management (TBM) principles.
- Facilitate process design, documentation, and adoption of KPIs, OKRs, and performance metrics.
- Implement governance dashboards to track and demonstrate process effectiveness and value.
Collaboration & Influence
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to align on risk and governance practices.
- Mentor and guide employees to develop governance capabilities through coaching and strategic assignments.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ethical decision-making, and continuous development.
- Collaborate with oversight functions and global risk teams to ensure consistent governance practices
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in technology or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in transformation and change, both within organizational mindset and in process/programs
- Experience in managing or participating in audit engagements or risk assessments, related to technology and/or information security processes
- Strong understanding of Technology Business Management disciplines, governance process & executive reporting
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including both traditional waterfall and Agile delivery
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and problem-solve
- Outstanding written and verbal skills
- Specific experience with Jira, Confluence and similar tools and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Thrive in fast paced environments, where initiatives are fluid and require constant prioritization
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to balance multiple tasks with excellent organization skills and careful attention to detail
- Risk mindset to successfully advise process owners of potential risk exposures within their processes and recommend control activities that can be implemented to mitigate such risks.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data sets of various sizes and sources and present a deliverable with a conclusion derived from the analysis.
- Ability to draft process flows, collaborating with process owners and SMEs to identify key activities, deliverables, and roles and responsibilities.
- Strong communicator with managers and non-Technology managers on strategic topics
- A big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality by leveraging relationships and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent presentation creation and delivery experience.
- Ability to deal effectively with all levels of management, employees, and external business contacts while conveying a professional, positive, service-oriented attitude
