What you'll do:
- Diagnose and fix issues in live trading systems, reducing downtime during disruptions and keeping traders informed with timely status updates.
- Oversee real-time production environments, address irregularities promptly, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Enhance and maintain trading tools to align with the firm’s standard technologies and processes.
- Engage with technology teams to address deficiencies in tools and improve their functionality to better serve trading desks.
- Lead incident response efforts, conduct post-incident reviews, and implement improvements to enhance support processes.
Qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience supporting traders and trading systems in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a market making firm
- BS/MS/BA degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, Finance, Physics, or related field
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify issues and implement solutions across multiple teams and trading systems
- Python programming skills are a plus, but not required
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Base salary represents just one part of overall compensation; all full-time, permanent roles are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, such as paid leave and insurance.
