Responsibilities:

  • Design mobile and web interaction flow and information architecture in the creation of site maps, hierarchies, categorizations, navigation, and metadata
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, customer journey maps, wireframes, storyboards, and low-fidelity prototypes that communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors
  • Create and rapidly iterate on ideas and develop them via storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes, or other methods
  • Use insights gathered from in-depth interviews, focus groups, analytics, usability testing, and A/B testing to inform deliverables
  • Provide design leadership to technical teams by hosting ongoing application reviews and promoting a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, business, and technology
  • Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, and web-based and mobile information architecture and design
  • Create realistic comps for front-end developers to deliver against

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or MS degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience as an interactive/user experience designer.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Proven understanding of responsive web and mobile application design and wireframe development.
  • Portfolio demonstrating world-class experience design solutions, outstanding understanding of user-centered design principles, and thought process.
  • Passionate customer advocate.
  • Awesome verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
  • Work effectively in an iterative, agile environment and collaborate with product owners, engineers, and business owners to define and produce solutions
  • Proficiency in a variety of user experience tools (for example: Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, Axure, Proto.io, Balsamic, Invisionapp, Fluid, Pixate, Flinto, etc.).
