About the Role
We are looking for a curious, thoughtful and imaginative UX Designer to join our small but growing product engineering team. They will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. We are looking for someone who is passionate about consumer-facing interfaces, and has experience using A/B testing to iterate until the best performing design is discovered.

The Ideal Candidate
- You are eager to work in small, collaborative teams with people that are curious, enthusiastic, and care deeply about their work
- You have a strong eye for design, pay attention to detail, and have a real empathy for the people using the products you build
- Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and screen sizes
- You have opinions on what makes for a great user experience and the toolkit to turn those opinions into products.
- You take unbridled pride in unlocking the full potential of everyone you work with
- You want to lead the discussions on how to improve our products, design process, and UX workflows
- You want to surround yourself with enthusiastic, positive people working together to solve interesting problems
- Expertise with UX Design software such as Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, and the like is required.
- Experience with HTML, CSS/SaSS, and JavaScript/JQuery is a plus, but not required.

Mac & Mia was created as Marie began to discover and curate unique styles from boutique brands around the world. Today, Mac & Mia saves busy parents time while delivering a fun and convenient shopping experience for families.
Mac & Mia customers take a brief style quiz before requesting a box for their child. They are then paired with a stylist who handpicks 6-8 items for the child. The items are shipped and the customer can keep what they love and send back the rest. Mac & Mia currently serves children from ages newborn to 6 years old.
