Position Overview:
The Front-End Developer position is essential for improving the digital customer experience on marketing platforms. Reporting directly to the Marketing organization, this role ensures that design, branding, and user experience are fully integrated with campaign objectives and business goals. In contrast to IT-centric positions that emphasize infrastructure and system stability, this marketing-embedded role focuses on delivering agile, visually engaging, and conversion-oriented web experiences. The developer will work in close partnership with designers, content strategists, and campaign managers to bring creative ideas to life and refine user journeys, thereby boosting engagement and revenue growth. This alignment with marketing enables swift campaign launches and design adaptations, bypassing extended IT processes for enhanced execution and customer interaction.
What You'll Do:
- Support the Becker website and multiple financial services websites by developing comprehensive website experiences, landing pages, promotions, web banners, and supporting Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) tests.
- Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces for marketing websites and landing pages across various brands.
- Implement and customize themes and templates within Drupal, Magento (Adobe Commerce), Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), and WordPress.
- Ensure brand consistency and performance optimization across all digital touchpoints for Becker and financial services sites.
- Partner with marketing stakeholders and the creative team to translate creative ideas and designs into functional web experiences, proactively addressing platform limitations.
- Manage priorities across multiple brands and adapt to frequent changes on a week-to-week basis.
What You'll Need to be Successful
- At least three years of experience in web development, with a focus on front-end technologies to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, particularly working on e-commerce and product pages rather than content or blog posts.
- Experience working with multiple brands or sites simultaneously and managing shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with content management and e-commerce platforms, including Magento (Adobe Commerce), Drupal, WordPress, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), with Magento experience being especially valued.
- Strong understanding of brand consistency, performance optimization, and user experience principles.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with designers, content strategists, campaign managers, the creative team, and other marketing stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in an agile environment focused on rapid campaign execution and adaptation to marketing priorities.
- A portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating relevant experience.
