IMC is currently looking for a multi-talented and passionate Trading Systems/DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining and perfecting our trading systems.  You will be part of highly experienced team, facing the daily challenge of managing a critical, high volume data flow in a complex trading environment distributed over a high speed data infrastructure.  In this role you will be exposed to many technical and trading challenges while ensuring high availability, stability and performance of the end-to-end environment. 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated UNIX/Linux Engineer who will play a critical role in system administration of our technical environment. The UNIX/Linux Engineer will be part of highly experienced team, and be faced with new challenges on a regular basis. Individuals with the Senior Stack Engineer role lead the implementation of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. They install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve DFIN's operating environment. They also maintain the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure. Individuals in this job are also responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of DFIN data centers. Senior Stack Engineers lead the implementation of new technologies across design, install, configuration, maintenance, and testing. In-scope technologies include virtual machines, operating systems, storage, databases, related software, and hardware. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting problems as escalated through incident management, supporting application access and electronic messaging services and maintaining a secure systems environment. They drive infrastructure solutions based on application needs and anticipated growth, deliver new services, and maintain the infrastructure.

As a TechOps Engineer, you will work closely with Echo’s Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery and maintenance of developed applications into production. This role will assist and guide the Operations teams to learn and adopt continuous delivery practices and efficient use of tools to accomplish their goals. As technical problems arise, you will collaborate with Operations team to find solutions. Additionally this role will work with the Operations Engineers to refine and improve the tools that and procedures that Echo Global Logistics uses to improve operational excellence across all of IT.

Contribute to the development of our product portfolio built with Clojure, Amazon Web Services, and PostgreSQL. You will partner with business and technical professionals to ensure the code is well designed within an Agile framework to contribute to architecture and development environments. We want you to grow your skills with us! Start on or before 11/21/2019 and we’ll bring you to Clojure/conj 2019 along with our other developers. Our team manages our own internal training, with budgets for classes, conferences, books, and materials. Mentor other junior members as the team grows.

Write scripts and code to automate the provisioning of AWS services and to configure services, using tools and languages including AWS CLI / API, Terraform, Python, Bash, and Git. Help implement monitoring and log aggregation approaches to notify partners of issues and communicate metrics.  Configure build pipelines to support automated testing and deployments.  Help implement security strategies in compliance with government and other regulations (such as PCI-DSS). Document and diagram deployment-specific aspects of architectures and environments. Troubleshoot issues in production and other environments.
