Responsible for the preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll for a fast-growing company, currently at 500+ employees. Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions. Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, Talent & Culture, Finance, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data. Handle the approval of expense reports, as well as the administration of expenses in the accounting system, and troubleshooting expense issues. Trains new employees on the expense reporting process. Applies for state income tax and state unemployment tax accounts when remote employees are on-boarded. Submits quarterly payroll tax and quarterly workers comp reports for states requiring additional filing. Serves as the administrator for the company 401k plan; enters updates into payroll based on weekly and monthly reports from our plan provider.
