Account Executive (Enterprise Sales)

The account executive is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets, with new logo accounts, within an assigned territory or vertical market segment. He or she will manage the entire sales/buying process, including demand generation, lead qualification, solution development/presentation, opportunity management, negotiations and close. The account executive will develop and demonstrate industry expertise on key business issues, regulatory issues and change, key business processes and nomenclature as well as develop and demonstrate industry domain expertise. The account executive will be responsible for driving sales opportunities in his/her industry vertical.

The Director, Strategic Operations will be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of the Sales organization through the development, implementation and maintenance of a range of sales operations functions. These include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation, sales compensation design and administration, as well as recruiting and selection of sales force talent. This position will foster close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success.

Utilization of both proactive outbound calling and quick response to inquiries in order to build a solid pipeline and exceed your annual quota. Skilled at leveraging proven consultative sales methodologies to analyze the prospect’s businesses, and address their changing automation needs. Develop and manage a follow up cadence to systematically nurture potential prospects that aren’t quite ready for the big show. Participate in interactive training & educational sessions to stay abreast of changes in Sphera solutions, sales, and the industry. Probably common sense to most sales hunters, but you are accountable to achieve objectives as outlined in the Sales Compensation Plan .
