Collects, analyzes, and prepares job information to facilitate the creation of job descriptions.
Works with HR Business Partners to meet with managers to determine job type, scope, and purpose of each position.
Studies and collects current job descriptions and compiles organizational charts, and other background information required for gathering relevant data to create job descriptions.
Observes jobs and interviews employees and managers to determine job requirements.
Analyzes job data, such as knowledge, skills, abilities and training requirements of jobs and employees; develops written job descriptions, job specifications, and career paths.
Utilizes developed job descriptions and salary survey data such as Option Driver to evaluate or improve methods and techniques for recruiting, selecting, promoting, evaluating, and training employees.
Assists the HR Business Partners to evaluate the jobs within each department to determine their relative value and create a wage structure.
