Work directly with functional leaders (marketing, operations, product development, etc.) to identify new ways to use data to make better decisions.
Build, improve, and debug our data models, with the goal of expanding and improving the data available to our employees (we use Redshift, dbt, and Looker).
Collaborate with business users to identify new opportunities to use machine learning to predict customer behavior and automate processes.
Create data-based tools that help our team delight our customers or make our business more efficient.
Develop materials for investor presentations and board meetings.
Manage and prioritize a backlog of questions about our customers’ demographics, preferences, and behavior; answer those questions using a combination of on-site testing, large-scale customer surveys, and individual customer interviews.
Be a scrappy problem-solver; identify ways to improve or fix things using novel technologies or methods.
