The 2017 shortlist for the Event Technology Awards (ETA) has been announced and SpotMe has been shortlisted for the following three category nominations:
- Best Event Networking Technology
- Best use of Technology for Engagement & Interaction and,
- Best use of Technology for Event Analytics / Data Collection.
Recognized as the accolade, the ceremony will be held at Troxy in East London on Thursday 9th November. Twenty-one judges, practiced in technology across the event spectrum, from British Athletics to Banks Sadler, will make the final decisions and winners will be revealed at a ceremony that promises more glitter than ever.
Adam Parry, co-founder and commercial director of the ETAs, comments: “Technology makes a bigger, faster mark in events media every year, but the sector itself has always looked for the latest solutions to enhance safety, productivity, the experience and all points between.
“The ETAs are designed to reflect those changes. So congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist. The quality and quantity of the submissions makes that a real achievement in itself and we will celebrate in fitting style on November 9.”
Will Poole, Troxy’s Event & Compliance Manager, said: “I’m delighted to see the Event Technology Awards coming back to East London. We have invested in some tech of our own since the last time and look forward to welcoming shortlisted companies, their guests and supporters, to Troxy for what will undoubtedly be a great night.”
