For years we’ve been making sure that we’re making our stuff accessible to people with disabilities. We’ve relied on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to... wait for it... guide us in our work. It has served us well, and will continue to do so. But these guidelines are all about the outcome — how we measure accessibility. They don’t prescribe how we get to that outcome. So how can we make sure that we’re consistently hitting that outcome? This is where inclusive design comes in and how we can ensure that we’re including people with all disabilities in our work.

In this session, join Derek Featherstone as we dig into inclusive design as a practice and how it helps you systematically reach your goal of making things accessible. Derek will lead you through a 45 min presentation and then we’ll have a full block of 45 minutes for questions and answers (Q&A).
