The Impact You Will Make:
- Lead all annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting and budgeting for Grubhub's Logistics, Customer Service and Fraud departments
- Monitor KPIs and business drivers for departments, highlighting trends and analyzing underlying causes of variance to goals
- Lead teams analyzing ambiguous problems, creating solvable questions and surfacing business recommendations
- Work and lead cross-functionally, partnering deeply with leaders across Grubhub's Logistics, Customer Service & Fraud organizations to measure opportunities, recommend changes, and track results
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives for department leads
- Support business leaders to solve business problems and understand the financial implications
- Help prepare presentations for Board of Directors and Executive Team
- Be curious! Find data nuggets, trends, and other analytical goodies that help us grow faster and generate more profit for the company
What You Bring to the Table
- BA/BS in an analytical field (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
- 5+ years of experience in an FP&A or analytical role, preferably with client-facing experience within tech, consulting, or finance
- 2+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of client-facing experience is a plus
- High EQ - able to lead an analyst and assist in their growth and development
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- High business acumen with a strong understanding of financial performance and ability to influence outcomes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- SQL and/or Tableau a plus
