Many people asked me if we offered her a position. We did! And she said yes! She starts Monday.

If you’re looking for a job, take notes. This is how you land one. And if you’re not looking for a job, pay it forward and pass this along to someone who is. They’ll thank you later.
In my opinion, the number one thing you can do to land a job is to out-CARE the other candidates competitng for the spot. Do your homework, learn as much as you can about the company's values and what makes them tick. And then wow the shit out them during your interview with your deep knowledge of the business and your passion for what the company does. After your interview, make sure to follow up with a thank you note and don't be bashful about pinging your potential employer with a few emails over the course of the next week or two to make sure you stay front of mind.
Trust me, from an employer's standpoint, once you get a thank you note like Kristen's, it's hard to say no.
