Don't get me wrong - I love working with all of our customers.  However, I would have to say that my favorite segment is non-profits.  Non-profits show appreciation of good service like none others in my experience at Verde Sustainable Solutions .  While they can be slow to make decisions and have limited budgets, they do important work and are loyal to companies that provide good products.

After a terrific year in growing our little Chicago 1871 Startup, we would like to provide completely free LED lighitng to 5 Non-Profits and we need your help.  Typically, our customers pay a $29 per month subscription for our service over three years, but we will waive this for up to five non-profit customers this December.

Please help us identify some great local non-profits that would benefit from lowering their electricity costs.  These organizations do not need to be environmentally-focused, just small organizaitons that would prefer to spend their budgets on their mission (instead of electricity).

Some of our previous customers include the Open Studio Project in Evanston, the Night Ministry, and Family Service.  All of these organizations are committed to their mission, and along with reducing their environmental impact, they are also now spending a smaller portion of their budget on energy.  An additional benefit - LED lights last up to 10 times longer than traditional lighting, so they will also be spending less money on bulbs and labor.

Any interested non-profits can put a submission before December 19th to our LED lighting retrofit form, or send a tweet mentioning #freeLED4nonprofits to @verdeL3C.  That is it - please help us get the word out
