Disrupting Hollywood: What it Takes... Sollywood

That’s what I know deep in my Heart… And that’s why I believe it. But it’s not what you believe… And honestly that’s okay. Why should you? I’m just some unknown guy writing a blog… Right? Okay. But understand this… This unknown guy’s goal is to PREACH! And make you a believer… Like everyone else is trying to do with their sermons. But unlike them I want to make you a true believer…

One that will go out and preach the Gospel according to Sollywood TV. The good news for all that we can get our Premium Content a la carte On-Demand Personalized and most importantly correctly priced Damn it! All because of the Good Grace of Technology! Now now, hear Here… Before we start to get all emotional and religious with this Epic sermon being preached… And the good news that it brings… Brethren, we must take the time out to understand what "BELIEVING" is… from a truly scientific perspective.

Now…

“Believing” is a Pre-installed programming feature of and for the Human Intelligence. A sophisticated app that allows you as an Intelligent agent to install or Integrate Information (beliefs) into your system (Mind/Body or Meta Software/Hardware). This information (the beliefs to be installed) is coded/sequenced using the units of natural language. It is developed specifically to be communicated as commands about what is and or how you should compute… as a Computor (not “er”).

Humans (Computors) using their pre-installed information processing system (Intelligence) have identified and codified these commands as principles, values, doctrines, ideas, and or concepts… Its all information. Lines of code to be installed... or not. It all depends on you (Computor) and the Programmer trying to hack you or get you to believe… Now from the moment you are born you are using your Intelligence, and the apps that come along with it like believing, to integrate information all around you. And there are levels of integration for the believing app... The deeper you integrate information the greater of an effect it will have on how you compute (think) and why you compute (Act). And the deeper the integration, the harder it is to uninstall… The difference? Believing in your mind versus your heart.

So when you learned “1+1=2” That was a programmed command. Did you believe it? Would you uninstall that information? When you read that blog this morning that expressed the top 10 ways not to fail at a start up, that was also commands by a programmer. Did you believe it as a Computor? How deeply? Would you uninstall it? Depends right? I know I was told as a child I was the cutest baby in all of cute baby history. But did I believe that command? … I was skeptical at first as all babies are probably told this command with no data to back it up. Where’s the Big Data! But as for me…

I simply had no choice. The scientific evidence was overwhelming. I had clear reasons to believe deep within my hear that it was true… And everyone has this pre-installed app for believing. It is literally what allows you to compute in this deployed system we call our Universe. But in order to compute that means “to do” literally ANYTHING you must first start the process of believing. If you do not believe you will not compute.

And One More Thing…

This is scientific but its not science. It’s more than Science. It is Scientific Wisdom. Science TODAY unfortunately starts with Matter and Energy as the basis for existence. But Matter and Energy are simply a deployed format. A format like Binary digits 1s & 0s that codify our software (thanks Dr. Shannon). Matter and Energy are nothing without Information and Intelligence. That is an Informatic Law. What I express to you correctly starts with Information, Intelligence and Computing. Those are the correct and primary components for all existence in that order… Logic. First information and Intelligence, which allows for computing. The scientific evidence is all around you… Including you. Just don’t ignore information and it will make sense.

Now before we get too deep into the disruption of Science lets get back to the sermon and disruption of Art…

Where were we? Oh right… Believing…

Brethren! Now that we understand what Believing actually is what have you been indoctrinated to believe will disrupt Hollywood… Do you believe the gospel according to Google? Or the religious doctrines of Apple’s Sainthood and Undeniable Superiority? How about the preaching from the Mount by the Establishment? The Hollywood Studios? Do you believe them with Religious Fervor?

What is the Scientific evidence… the Information saying? Does it say yes disruption will come from inside the Bubble? Does it say yes these Big players have a strategy for fixing the broken pricing system for Consumers and Premium Content? Does the evidence suggest they even know that pricing is the problem and care to fix it? On the flip side does the evidence show they have a will to fix monetization for the least of these when it comes to Content Creators? The short filmmakers, the Independents, the New Media creators and the Hobbyists? Do they even care? Are they worthy of their presence and platforms?

Rather than rehash the Landscape from my other blogs can I propose to you a new Command? A new idea. A new belief to be installed. One that makes sense? Get it “Makes SENSE”! For all… Here it is:

Sollywood will disrupt Hollywood

Now I know that probably conflicts with the current information encoded in your system but hear me out... Let me finish MY sermon.

You might think Sollywood is me… and you would be right. But more importantly its more than just me… Its you... Consumer. Its you... Its us. Its Chicago THE ORIGINAL HOLLYWOOD. It’s a vibrant City with a work ethic that rivals any society past or present. THAT’s A FACT!  You export the way we work here in the Mid-West and you export SUCCESS! Oh Yes! We’re BLESSED! Everyone knows it. And in order to disrupt Hollywood you need this kind of system or higher-level program in place. All the parts and components of the environment … the Society, must function properly together to make the changes necessary for true Disruption. Chicago's tech community has it. Not LA. Sorry. The Truth hurts… But it will also set you free.

So Sollywood is not only a Team or a product, it’s a City, a hard working community of mentors, Investors, Coders, Designers, cheerleaders and believers all rooting and working towards changing the world for all Content Creators. It’s a place where we will do the impossible… miracles… Like building more than just trendy apps to die 6 months later but instead everlasting solutions using apps to change lives... Forever. In Chicago we will establish a new Heaven for disruption where Art and Science converge using advancements in technology to consume the world… and leave a brighter day for all. Sollywood TV is just the beginning. Its just the beginning.

This is what I preach to you. It is the vision that I see. A vast technology Kingdom reaching to all ends of the Universe with its Head and Ass (me) being Chicago… A bright city on a Hill… I mean Prairie… Sollywood. That’s what I mean by It takes Sollywood. Now that you know that… Will you start the process of believing?
