Edopter: Chicago Lean Startup Challenge Week 3 Review

It was a great week. In a week's time we were able to go from no product to one and no vision to our original vision.

This is an excerpt from last week's post:

So we asked them what they wanted. They said:

  • More people to come onto their platforms
  • The ability to meet their users in person
  • They ability to schedule meetings seamlessly with users where it just shows up on their calendar
  • The ability to aggregate all their analytical tools into one hub
  • The ability to take all the feedback they get from different outlets and put that all into one place to make decisions
  • The ability to integrate that with a project-management software to take immediate action

WOW. This is NOT what we thought they wanted. But it is what they want.

So for this week we are seeing more if they are looking for these solutions while we go out to build a first version. From there, we will test the hypotheses seeing if they are willing to pay us.

About midway through the week we had talked with some customers and one of them had suggested something to me that made me think of my original vision. My vision was to create a platform for early adopters to help startups and gets access to technology and new products early. I did not know how to do this and the steps to take but this was what I was passionate about as I wanted this for myself. After this week, we have discovered that we still can do this and this should be our basis.
