We all know of Foursquare's success and undoubtably heard the term gamification thrown around loosely, but is there more to gamification than badge systems and leaderboards? Is it simply a hot marketing buzzword, or is gamification a major shift in how consumers interact with brands? I am of the opinion that gamification is a lasting trend similar to the rise of social media. I have listed 3 great videos, which accurately summarize why gamification is here to stay and why, as future and current business leaders, we should care.
