Little Independent: 5 Reasons Why November Means Local

Little Independent helps small stores work together to access new customers, enhance visibility online and sell inventory faster.  We’re at it all year but we are so excited about the events in November that promote the importance of shopping at local, independent businesses.  Here are five to look out for:

1.  Saturday, November 12 is Neighborhood Toy Store Day!

2.  The Shift Your Shopping campaign begins.

3.  Business Alliance for Local Living Economies sponsors Buy Local Week November 25 through December 4.

4.  Local First Chicago has Unwrap Chicago and Chicago Buy Local Week.

5.  Small Business Saturday is November 26.

The local and independent movement is growing.  More and more people are recognizing the value of preserving and promoting Main St. style shopping in America.  We are thrilled to be a part of it.  Please help our cause:

1.  Visit Little Independent to explore our growing community of small stores working together.

2.  If your favorite store isn’t on there, please tell the shopkeeper about our site.  We’re quite new and eager to spread the word.

3.  Purchase holiday gifts from independently owned stores in person or via Little Independent.

That’s it!  Now you’re a part of the movement too.  Thanks for your support!
