No, We Didn't Forget About Employers

It’s been an exciting month for Chicago job seekers. We’ve launched Kono and Kauzu.Jobs, giving our hardest-hit communities access to free job-finding technology they’ve never had before.

But what about employers?

Our mission, after all, is transforming how job seekers and employers connect. As much as we’ve dedicated ourselves to improving the job-finding experience, we haven’t forgotten that employers are where all those jobs come from.

Employers listing jobs these days don’t have great options. Classified ads? So last millennium. Craigslist? Unreliable, and hard to navigate. The big online job sites? They charge $300 or more per listing, and job seekers have no way to search for listings near their location.

We think employers are ready for an application that lets job seekers find them by location … that helps them hire local, cut turnover and generate repeat business … that makes job listings easy to manage from any computer, tablet or smart phone … that not only finds them great staff, but gives them valuable analytics on when and where their listings were viewed … that creates the sustainable economic development that helps every family and business in the community.

They’re ready for an application that does all of the above, with unlimited free listings.

They’re ready for Kauzu.Biz.

Coming next Tuesday, August 28. Stay tuned.
