Appolicious, the leading mobile application discovery service, was selected by Samsung to power Android app discovery within the company's new GALAXY TAB 7.0 Plus tablet computer.

As reported yesterday in TechCrunch, the Samsung partnership is part of our company's 'Intel inside' strategy of providing APIs to power app discovery for partners. In October, we launched the Best Buy Mobile App Discovery Center found at apps.bestbuy.com.

As well, New York Times' App Smart columnist Bob Tedeschi this week cited Appolicious as a reason why Searching for Apps Is Finally Getting Easier.

In addition to powering app discovery for partners like Samsung and Best Buy, Appolicious reaches consumers through owned and operated sites including Appolicious.com, AndroidApps.com and video review service AppVee.com. We also have branded applications for the iPhone and Android devices.

Appolicious, built in Chicago, was founded in 2009 by serial entrepreneur Al Warms and is backed by Chicago-based Apex Venture Partners.
