New personal shopping startup CakeStyle launched out of private beta Tuesday, making great personal style easy and convenient for even the busiest woman.  CakeStyle is being incubated at Sandbox Industries, the Chicago venture capital firm and business incubator.

CakeStyle is a personal shopping service that makes it simple for any woman to look her best. Our team of personal stylists selects the most flattering fashions of the season and ship them straight to each client's door quarterly. We even include a video of each look on a mannequin. CakeStyle makes personal style effortless — simply keep what you like and send the rest back.

No time to shop? Hate wading through department store crowds? CakeStyle’s personal stylists handpick fashions and accessories by the hottest designers, like Kate Spade, Elie Tahari, Rachel Roy and more, and ship them straight to your door each season. Try everything on in the comfort of your own home, keep what you love and send the rest back. The CakeStyle service and shipping (including returns) are free—you pay regular retail prices only for those items you choose to keep.

Getting started is a piece of cake, too: simply sign up at CakeStyleMe.com. Your personal CakeStylist will be in touch to learn your individual style, wardrobe needs and fit. Then, each season, your personal CakeStylist will send you a selection of fashion basics specific to your lifestyle and tastes, including shoes and accessories—everything you need to put together classic, stylish outfits without the hassle of shopping.

“CakeStyle is perfect for busy professional women, and especially moms who don’t have time to shop around, try on clothes and make returns,” said CakeStyle founder Cecelia Myers. “We even create a personalized video demonstrating how to coordinate and wear each of your new outfits. It can’t get much easier than this to look great, even when you’re pressed for time.”

Clients in the Chicago area are also welcome to visit CakeStyle's showroom at 4 East Ohio Street to try on clothes and accessories with the help of their personal CakeStylist.
