Show notes
Today we welcome Patrick Rodgers to the Journeys set. Along with being an avid Gordon Bombay fan, he is the director of sales for LearnCore, a training and coaching technology software platform primarily serving client-facing roles. In this episode, Patrick shares his approach to building a better knowledge base to better serve his customers ensuring they can better serve theirs. His strategy includes:
- Bucking the traditional sales silos and moving towards shared information to better serve customers
- Identifying your top performers' behaviors and finding a way to replicate that across your entire team
- How to adapt your sales processes to best address & inform today's already well-educated customer
- Knowing that strategies will change during a company's life cycle so it is important
- There is a time when it's necessary (and strategic) to walk away from a deal, leaving money on the table
And, if you want to know more about the purchasing knowledge statistic Jeremie references at 3:39, here's an article to check out.
