The trajectory of our work life is changing rapidly. When I graduated from college is could be pretty linear and predictable. Not any more.
45% of the world wide work force will be contingent or unattached by 2020. That means they won't have steady jobs, but will be a part of the gig economy. Solopreneurs and 1-5 person shops are increasing in number.
I was reading JoAnne Wilson's blog today and she invested in a New York TechStars company called Lynxsy.
They match recent college grads to jobs in startups. Seems like a pretty cool idea to me.
