In recent years, Double Good has seen 40% year over year growth, and we’re excited about our future! We’re excited about the possibility of you joining our mission. We are looking for a User Experience Researcher to join our growing Product Tech team.

Location - Chicago, Hybrid

About the role:

  • Plan and conduct research studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Analyze and synthesize data to identify user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns
  • Foster a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, contributing to the development of user personas, journey maps, and empathy-driven design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to integrate user insights into the product development process
  • Present research insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product lifecycle
  • Participate in design reviews to determine usability, accessibility, and desirability

Experience & Skills we value:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in UX and working with an Agile product team
  • Ability to empathize with users
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge and experience performing user research through a variety of methods throughout the design process 
  • Experience creating intuitive solutions across devices and platforms
  • Experience creating information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and personas
  • Proficiency with working in UX tools such as Maze, UserTesting.com, etc.
