BankBox + the Chicago Lean Startup Challenge 2012

Hi Chi

BankBox is a social escrow app that makes it easier for you to do the things you love with your friends.

Just create an event. Fund your account. And invite your friends to pool their money. Whether it’s for organizing a bachelor party, planning a roadtrip, or managing a Fantasy Football League, BankBox is simple and secure. Mainly, it means you never have to remind people to pay you back.

It's been an incredible sprint with the Chicago Lean Startup Challenge. We've developed a lot in a short amount of time. In 10 weeks we've learned:

// that the biggest problem with planning activities among friends is having one person front money and then have to remind people to get made whole.

// that people really hate splitting bills, planning bachelorette parties and managing an intramural league.

// and… that you can offer ostensibly free bank-to-bank transfers by having an account at most banks. This is really sneaky.

That said, here's our product video: [video:http://youtu.be/bPPqgIdsrLE align:center]

Look forward to seeing more of you. You can reach us at [email protected] and [email protected]

Thx Harris and Nathan
