The Chicago company obsessed with actionable employee feedback

Today, we are so excited to unveil our new employee engagement tool—HappyMeter. Built specifically for simplicity and transparency, it is designed so that each morning your team receives an emoji-filled email with a single question— “How are you feeling about work today?” (You can customize the question for any culture). Users have the ability to log a comment, anonymously or otherwise. Your team leaders then collect information and trend data to make better decisions.

By providing a low-friction checkpoint every day, people can raise issues small and large without having it feel like a “big thing.” We built this tool internally at Clique Studios as we grew and expanded beyond the reach of our two founders. If you don’t talk with someone every day, small issues that could be caught in one-off conversations have the potential to bubble up and become much larger issues. As we searched for solutions to help build consistency and scalability into our team check-ins, we struggled to find the right balance of simplicity and flexibility. So, true to our core identity, we decided to build something.

HappyMeter has opened communication channels within our organization about everything from how to moderate noise in our space, to how to improve our project process and manage workload. We’ve benefitted tremendously, as have our beta clients, and we’re excited to finally share HappyMeter with the wider community. Check it out today on Product Hunt and tell us what you think.

We believe happy teams to better work. Now, there’s an easy way to monitor that happiness. Learn more here, and sign your team up for a free trial!
