New Venture Challenge People’s Choice Award: Energy Intelligence

About the company: When cars slow down, they waste energy. Imagine if there was a way to put some of that lost energy to productive use. Energy Intelligence aims to revolutionize the reuse of energy lost on roadways by embedding electro-mechanical devices in road surfaces to recapture energy otherwise lost by vehicular traffic.

Energy Intelligence is participating in the Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge, the University of Chicago’s premier start-up competition. The company is competing for the popular vote from the Built In Chicago community, and we encourage you to promote your favorite team by liking, tweeting, and spreading word about the company. The People’s Choice Award winner will be announced at the NVC finals on May 24 and will receive a cash prize. For more, see the original post.
