About the company: LivingCloset is a management tool and recommendation engine for women’s apparel.  The product inventories and organizes a user’s apparel purchases in a visual online catalog.  With an online wardrobe, users can manage and style the clothing they buy and shop in the context of the items they own.  By creating a user’s digital inventory, LivingCloset captures rich cross-retailer, SKU-level data that can be used to personalize the online marketplace and recommend more relevant products and retailers.

Living Closet is participating in the Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge, the University of Chicago’s premier start-up competition. The company is competing for the popular vote from the Built In Chicago community, and we encourage you to promote your favorite team by liking, tweeting, and spreading word about the company. The People’s Choice Award winner will be announced at the NVC finals on May 24 and will receive a cash prize. For more, see the original post.
