The SeedCon Fast-Pitch Competition, organized in partnership with Built in Chicago, will give six idea-stage start-ups the opportunity to pitch in front of top names in entrepreneurship and venture capital. Five finalists will be chosen by our judges, and the sixth spot will be given to the entry with the most "likes" on their optional fast-pitch video. In other words, the earlier you apply, the more time you have to accumulate likes, thumbs up, and promotes and gain entry into the Fast-Pitch finals.
At the SeedCon fast-pitch finals, the six selected teams will each have 10 minutes of stage time in front of the judges: four minutes to pitch and six minutes of Q&A. Presentation slides are allowed. SeedCon judges will select the winners, who will receive $100,000+ in start-up-friendly prizes provided by our generous in-kind sponsors and put together by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
In-Kind Prizes from the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce include:
1st prize: $25,000 worth of marketing, legal, and accounting services
2nd prize: $15,000 worth of marketing, legal, and accounting services
3rd prize: $10,000 worth of marketing, legal, and accounting services
In addition, every finalist has a chance to also receive:

- 1 year free ZipCar membership + $100 in driving credit ($160)
- 8 hours of mentorship with Excelerate CEO, Troy Henikoff (3 hours to first place, 1 hour for every finalist team)
