SeedCon Fast-Pitch Entries: Klosetshop, Transvision and myTalentLoops

We're so excited that we're already getting entries for the SeedCon fast-pitch competition! This week's ideas include a virtual closet (iTunes for clothes!), an online marketplace for electronic components, and a web platform to help connect recruiters and talent around highly specialized job needs.

Time to step it up folks! Competition is going to be fierce!

Klosetshop

Klosetshop is a virtual closet concept that organizes all the clothes you own in an easy to use, visually appealing, super sleek online database. We call it “iTunes” for your clothes.

Getting dressed is a huge source of stress for some people due to closet organization, style dilemmas, and size issues, and pulling together a complete look is a huge waste of time every morning. The free mobile app makes the uploading process super easy so you can create outfits, pack a virtual suitcase, assign outfits to the calendar, sell items you don’t need, get style help, and of course, shop!

Klosetshop is already accepting email registrations, so get hung up at http://www.klosetshop.com/!

Transvision

Electronic Components (ECs) is a $300 billion international business. So why not establish an electronic trading market, i.e. initiate the world's first ever Electronic Components Commodities Exchange?

Why the idea is feasible? 1) ECs are highly standardized products. Many ECs like memory/transistors/logic have pin-to-pin substitutes from different EC manufacturers. 2) ECs are traded in large volume every day. 3) HK would be an ideal place for such exchange since most ECs landed there first. 4) Similar OTC markets for memory already existed.

Benefits: EC users (OEMs or CEMs) can dramatically reduce procurement cost and increase production flexibility. World's productivity will increase.Just think about 163 years ago, when there is no computer or fancy technology, even the wheat or live stock could be lauched to trade in the Chicago commodities exchange. So why not our EC Commodities Exchange today?

myTalentLoops

myTalentLoops is developing a web-based platform that people use to introduce/promote very specific abilities or opportunities using e-profiles, a private collaboration communication wall, compatibility-matching technology, as well as facilitation to execute best-fit placements. User functionality and views are role- and permission-based per post. User roles are Talent Candidate, Talent Seeker, Facilitator, Evaluator and Guest (influential others). In addition, Facilitators are provided with relationship and task management features that enable them to help more Candidates and Seekers make better decisions quicker.
