Last year, Project Fixup partnered with Divvy to set up couples on bike dates around the city. This year, we are kicking off the summer by partnering with 15 Chicago nonprofits for a unique way to raise money and have fun in the process with our Dates for Good campaign.
How it works: Single do-gooders sign up at www.datesforgood.com from now until May 23rd, answer a few questions so we can match them with a person, place, and location, and pick the charity of their choice to receive 100% of the fixup fee. From there, we do all the work to organize their date. If they are interested, all they need to do is confirm and meet someone new!
Dates for Good partners this year include: CHIRP Radio, The Field Museum, VOCEL, Dreams for Kids, Light the Night Walk, Inspiration Corporation, Common Threads, Dar Serca, ChildServ, FreeGeek Chicago, The Night Ministry, The Cara Program, PAWS Chicago, The University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation, Catholic Charities, Teen Living Programs, and Endure to Cure.
