The Illinois Technology Foundation and Sage Sustainable Electronics are teaming up to help companies empty those dusty electronic closets and get rid of electronic clutter in an environmentally safe way! As you replace your technology, don’t let it go to the closet and get dusty. Let ITF make sure it gets a good second-use after refurbishment by Sage.
Best of all, this is at NO COST to you. We will send a truck to pick up the product at your location.
In addition, if the donated computers are still in working condition, Sage will refurbish them and make them available to non-profits and the underserved community at a significantly reduced cost.
We are scheduling the pick up on May 1, 2015 and a second pick up on May 18, 2015. We will have volunteers from the Foundation to help your staff load the equipment on to the truck.
If required and you have a detailed inventory of the donated equipment, we will give you a letter indicating your donation and certifying that the equipment was disposed of in an environmentally safe way.
If you have sensitive data on the equipment, we can make accommodations to assure the total destruction of the data and provide a certificate to that effect.
