 Overview

FarShore is a global technology company that has designed and developed web and mobile applications for clients ranging from Fortune 1000 companies to startups.  We are currently seeking an Account Coordinator to join our team to help facilitate an ideal working relationship for FarShore’s existing and prospective clients.  The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, detail-oriented, organized, and has a high capacity for both written and verbal communication. The candidate should be ready to work in a tight knit office environment while interacting with a largely abroad development, design, and project management team.

 

The Role

  • Work in collaboration with the Business Development Team (sales, marketing, and client services) to coordinate critical touch points during the project selection, review and onboarding processes
  • Assist with the sourcing and maintenance of FarShore’s sales cycle (researching new client prospects, preparing documentation and presentations that communicate our service offering, participate in the vetting of client project requirements and finalize sales proposals) 
  • Adhere to organizational processes for maintaining project materials and avoiding information loss
  • Review invoices and enforce client payment deadlines to sustain collection rates
  • Support the content marketing strategy by highlighting relevant articles to share on social media and collaborating with our SEO specialist to curate blog posts
  • Manage expectations, communicate the client’s agenda, and serve as a primary contact between the FarShore implementation team and partners, especially when issue resolution is required
  • Participate in and lead various client engagement initiatives including educational material development and research
  • Identify new engagement opportunities and recognize potential project pain points 

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of account management / marketing / sales experience in a technology company, specifically web and mobile development
  • Interest in internet-based software, specifically mobile and e-commerce applications
  • Excellent listening, writing, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Diligent work ethic both independently as well as within a team
  • Effective time management to prioritize a workload and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable being hands-on in an exciting, entrepreneurial environment, with a global workforce across multiple cultures
  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States
