Associate Director,  Social Strategy

Right now, we’re looking for an Associate Director to help us bring that transformation to life through social.

We are looking for a team player that has a constant thirst for and inquisitiveness about new and inspiring ways to connect with humans, and how brands can leverage social to drive business results. This position is integral to the sourcing, planning, and development of social programs from a strategic vision to tactical implementation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as a key partner across capabilities (creative, account management, planning, analytics, technology, and media)
• Help to direct and execute social strategies for one or multiple clients as assigned
• Help develop and implement best practices in social for the client and agency
• Push innovation on client business, both internally and externally
• Provide education on overall social industry landscape, trends and best practices to internal teams and clients
• Help identify and assist in training & development opportunities for the broader teams to ensure social expertise is socialized among Digitas teams
• Stay constantly up to date on the evolving social landscape, and translating those changes to clients 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-8 years Digital Marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in social media on a well-known brand
• Minimum 2 years of managing direct reports
• Strong understanding and articulation of the relationships between owned, earned, and paid social media
• Hunger to never stop learning
• Dedication to completing projects and tasks with passion and a relentless pursuit of excellence; ability to excel in a complex and changing marketplace. Committed to flawless execution.
