Rocketmiles is excited to add a talented product manager to the product team here in our Chicago headquarters. Our product team is responsible for the management of our website and apps, including user experience, testing, analytics, and innovation. We are looking for an analytical and creative person who loves working with a small, collaborative team and is excited about technology, travel, and consumer businesses. Every day you’ll work with our designers, developers, and business teams to grow our core product.

Key role components include:

• Working with product and tech team to manage the development process
• Develop cross-functional solutions with our partnerships and customer loyalty teams
• Conducting analysis around product performance, usage, and A/B testing to inform key product/business decisions
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and growth projects

The ideal candidate:

• Is deeply analytical and loves working with numbers.
• Has academic background in quantitative, analytics, and/or technical field; relevant work experience is not a requirement but a plus.
• Has empathy for customers and their experience.
• Is detail oriented.
• Enjoys solving complex problems and working with others to devise and implement solutions.
• Understands how to summarize complex concepts in simple written and oral communications
• Is energized by fast-paced data-driven working environments.
• Has experience with Excel, and interest in learning SQL and other tools.
• Programming knowledge is not required, but experience in technology is a plus.
• Has a passion for travel.
