 bswift, a leader in cloud-based technology and services foremployee benefits and health exchanges, is currently seeking an Associate Product Manager – Decision Support & Exchange.  The person in this role will proactively(that a very key word) measure, troubleshoot and refine a product linethat guides consumers through their annual benefits enrollment decisions.


Let’s face it, medical and Medicare benefits are complicated & highly nuanced. And since employees typically only consider these choices once per year, there’s a lot of re-learning involved.  Our signature services (“AskEmma” and “Best Fit”) swiftly guide employees through dense subjects; pose the right questions about their medical needs, and does some heavy lifting in order to recommend an appropriate plan. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Managers to define product specs that clearly communicate detailed functionality and architecture.
  • Deeply understand how various aspects of our product integrate together – including data flow, underlying algorithms, client-side logic, and UX components.
  • Troubleshoot product issues escalated from clients or Account Managers.
  • Design and implement reporting solutions that enable product managers to make effective decisions.
  • Quality testing of the product prior to new product releases.
  • Liaise with other business groups including Client Services, Sales, Marketing and Software Development to define product requirements.
  • Assist with the creation of wireframes that clearly convey product features and functionality to a web designer and contribute to the web/graphics design effort.
  • Work closely with the Documentation team to define product functionality for bswift release documents and help documentation.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of work experience in product management or as an analyst with proven troubleshooting skills.
  • A passion for transforming data into insightful information
  • Highly detailed oriented with ability to convey concepts verbally and in writing for both technical and design stakeholders.
  • Technical background, with experience in software applications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent teamwork skills + a willing attitude to flex as priorities change or as feedback is received from consumers or clients.

 

The following experience is not required but is beneficial:
Experience in the health care and benefits admin industry.
SQL Skills


EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
