LiveWatch is seeking a Back-End Developer to help us continue to scale our company. LiveWatch is a home security and automation company that leverages best in class technology and personal service to protect our customers. We have a fast-paced, rapidly growing, startup culture.
We are looking for a Back-End Developer to help us continue to scale our company.
Responsibilities
- Roll out new Rails-based ecommerce platform
- Automate our customer onboarding and operations processes
- Lead our ETL and data warehousing initiatives in Python and Clojure
- Architect internal applications to help our sales and operations teams
- Partner with marketing and product to develop new applications for our end users
- Keep up with trends in new technologies and frameworks
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a back end role
- Comfortability with Rails strongly preferred
- Experience with AWS, Python, Clojure, Spree, and Javascript a plus
- Ability to self-direct and architect applications using the proper technology for the job
- Passionate about development
- Strong communication and organizational skills
