In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, code, test, implement and support the data platform.
• Create/Update documentation on data processing across the company.
• Apply a metadata-driven mindset for ETL development.
• Verify and support existing ETL code bases to ensure data accuracy. Identify manual processes and automate those.
• Provide detailed analysis of data related issues. Implement resolutions accordingly.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Create & support data presentation platform via reports & dashboards
• Work in a collaborative team environment.

You must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5 years Data Warehouse/Data migration experience developing against a database
• In depth understanding of SQL for data access
• Data Migration experience in a tool or script based environment.
• Survival skills in a Linux/UNIX command-line environment
• Comfortable with JSON, XML, HTTP, HTML, Web Services
• Experience on a cross-functional team (Agile or other)

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of git
• Experience with Pentaho
• Understanding of data presentation concepts via enterprise reporting tools
• Proficiency in scripting in all three - Python, Shell and Javascript
