ParkWhiz is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to assist in accounting operations. Reporting to our Controller the Bookkeeper will work up to 25 hours a week and have responsibility for managing Accounts Payable/Receivable and ensuring operational efficiency for the organization.
What You’ll Do:
Maintain accurate books and records - tracking of payments and accounts
Assist in creation of detailed and organized documentation of accounting procedures
Maintain W9s and prepare 1099s
Process customer refunds and work with vendors to resolve payment issues
Organize and maintain credit card receipts and invoice folders
What You Bring to the Table:
Solid understanding of basic accounting - debits/credits, assets/liabilities, etc
Intermediate knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Very familiar with Excel and/or Google Sheets experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Good interpersonal/communication skills
Prior bookkeeping experience is a must
Ability to work ~25 hours a week
