The Business Analytics - Analyst I supports the Business Analytics team by acting as the primary point of contact for internal customers. The role demands equal parts customer service focus and accuracy under pressure. Drawing from financial, product, and operational data, the Analyst ensures that Business Analytics stakeholders have access to valuable reporting and that they understand how to use and interpret results. The role ultimately contributes to driving the organization’s success in data based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Primary point person for first-level Business Analytics support
• Maintain and deliver monthly reporting for company-wide Key Performance Indicators 
• Analyze data for quality and identify integrity issues across stakeholders 
• Conduct ad hoc introductory stakeholder trainings about Business Analytics team and Business Analytics tool sets 
• Aid data governance initiatives by executing supporting tasks 
• Special projects as they arise

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, math/statistics or similar discipline 
• Introductory Microsoft Excel skills and generally nimble with technology
• Ability to analyze and document business processes
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Works efficiently under pressure and meets deadlines
• Passionate about data and reporting
• Exercises good judgment, respects colleagues, and works with integrity

Preferred Qualifications:
• Introductory knowledge of a CRM tool, preferably Salesforce.com
• Introductory knowledge of a visualization tool, preferably Tableau
