What You’ll Do:

BizOps at Uptake is a data-driven, decision-support mechanism that helps with everything from optimizing employee’s day-to-day, to operationalizing high-priority initiatives and streamlining cross-functional alignment. As a BizOps Associate, you will play a critical role in leading the management and execution of cross-functional projects across Operations at Uptake. The mission of this role is to drive results through objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. Using a combination of strong project management skills, creative problem solving and data analysis, you will work to support senior leaders across Uptake to make smarter data-driven decisions that drive operational efficiencies to support our aggressive growth. In this role, you will serve as a critical right-hand partner of the business functions and will have tremendous growth opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional and functional teams to analyze opportunities, synthesize findings, develop action plans and drive the execution of various initiatives
• Address complex operational challenges that emerge from rapid growth and the need to scale
• Assist in the development of standardized operating procedures and policies aimed at ensuring operational effectiveness
• Provide operational visibility across business functions to the senior leadership team
• Assist in the development of data/information quality metrics and data-driven insights
• Research industry trends, best practices and new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise-wide BizOps solutions 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of work experience in a consulting firm, investment bank/PE/VC
• Undergraduate degree from top tier university
• Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior success in managing multiple projects
• Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
• Proactive and relentless: capable of seeking information independently, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results
• High energy, positive team player that works well with others
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating insights using data with senior leadership team
