Community Engagement Specialist

We’re looking for a self-motivated individual to drive and execute our community strategy and help build a strong community of software reviewers and G2 Crowd advocates.
The Community Engagement Specialist will engage G2 Crowd users by building relationships with our reviewers and other users, and help develop programming and communications to increase engagement levels. This person will also engage other communities of professionals and software users to encourage participation on G2 Crowd.
This person will also will work closely with the marketing team to build highly effective, scalable initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:• Build, expand, and maintain a growing network of 50,000 G2 Crowd users.
• Reach out to potential community members using email, phone and social media to encourage them to contribute to the community.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing contributors via ongoing communication and exclusive programs
• Develop and execute events that will engage current contributors and attract new participants
• Cultivate any PR-worthy stories related to users and work with marketing/PR to develop and package these stories
• Exceptional networking and relationship building skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate people to act
• Skilled at utilizing social networks to engage and get persons to take action
• Strong communicator who can find new paths for collaboration and effective solutions to community members’ challenges
• Ability to work with data and willingness to track results, activities and outreach
